I had to do all my flight training in a Cessna 172 since I couldn't fit in any of the available 152's. I am a second generation EAA member. My Father, also a Mechanical Engineer, designed and built a small biplane in the early 60's. I grew up around airplanes, and "helped" him rebuild several, including a WACO UPF-7, when I was a kid.
