AeroFoil performs the calculations over a range between –8 and +32 degrees. A minimum of nine and a maximum of thirty-one calculations are performed. The default is nine sets of calculations ranging between –8 and +22 degrees. The minimum range of display is between 0 and +12 degrees. Results that are significantly beyond the stall point may not be valid. The user may adjust the range and number of calculation as necessary.
The maximum or minimum angle of attack is adjusted with the slider bars and the appropriate option button. Spacing is uniform over the selected range. The "Reset" option returns the selection back to its default of –8 to +22 degrees. The minimum allowable range is four degrees.
Any of the values may be entered manually by left clicking over the numeric value and typing the desired value in the text box.
