AeroFoil will initially be issued as an Unregistered Demonstration Version.
The Unregistered Demonstration Version will have the ability to perform all calculations for 14 days; however, it will not be possible to save or print any results. After 14 days, the program will downgrade to AeroFoil Lite until it is registered with AeroFoilEngineering.com
A single-user license will be issued to AeroFoil in one of four types. Anyone who registers AeroFoil though the e-mail system will be notified of developments and improvements to the program.
As a REGISTERED copy of AeroFoil, all of the calculations and displays will be available and the single-user license will not expire. It will not be possible to save or print any results. Limited technical support will be available via e-mail. At any time, the REGISTERED user may upgrade to a higher level. In this case, limited technical support means that questions about program execution will be answered. Any questions concerning aeronautical terms or concepts will NOT be answered.
With LIMITED registration of AeroFoil, all of the analysis features will be available and the single-user license will not expire. The creation of new airfoils is unavailable. Technical support will be available via e-mail. At any time, the LIMITED user may upgrade to full registration. In this case, technical questions related to the analysis portion of the program, including aeronautical terms and concepts will be answered.
The STUDENT version of AeroFoil is available only to a user who registers via e-mail from a valid educational mail address. The single-user license will expire after one year. Until that time, all of the features are available. Unlimited technical support will be available via e-mail. At any time, the STUDENT user may upgrade to full registration. Unlimited technical support will include questions related to aeronautical terms and concepts, creation of new airfoils using the inverse model, and will include references (if available).
All features and options of AeroFoil are available and the single-user license will not expire. Unlimited technical support will be available via e-mail. After License Type is selected, a confirmation screen is displayed. It will describe the features available after the registration process is completed.
After the License Type is confirmed, the user must specify a Licensee name and then press the "New Serial Number" button. A new serial number will be generated and displayed. The "E’mail" and "Post Mail" buttons will also become enabled.
The "E’mail" option will automatically open the user’s default e-mail application and generate the necessary note. Sending the e-mail is NOT automatic; the user has full control of the process.
The "Post Mail" option will print a short form with the necessary information. It will also contain instructions in case the user wishes to register via e-mail.
After the e-mail is sent, you will receive an automated response which has a link for a PayPal account. When payment for your single-user license is completed, you will receive a registration code that is unique to your computer and AeroFoil serial number.
After the registration process has begun, the "registration pending" notice will be appended to the License Type.
After payment is received, a Registration Code will be sent to you. This Registration Code must be entered in order to complete the registration process.
It must be entered exactly as written in your confirmation notice.
Upon completion of the registration process, AeroFoil is licensed to a single user on a single computer. The license registration will not function on any other computer. If the Licensee needs to transfer the application to a different computer, contact AeroFoilEngineering.com
